What a beautiful sound!

This week is such an exciting week...

First, I am 12w2d today!! So very close to that second trimester.

Second, I heard the heartbeat today on the doppler at the doctors!! It was so beautiful and strong at 173 bpm! I got so excited about the sound that I forgot to ask all my questions. I will probably have to call and leave a message for the doctor as I am running out of progesterone and wondering if I should refill or if they want to test me to see if I can stop.

Third, tomorrow is our NT scan! I am excited to see how the baby has grown in the last 2.5 weeks. Hopefully we will see some movement!!

I am feeling completely normal still. I think what little exhaustion I had is no longer even though I still don't sleep at night. I pay no attention to weight gain, I figure the Doctor will tell me whether it is too much or too little and I don't need to see the number on the scale. I am still in my regular clothes and expect to be for a while yet as I know most overweight people don't start showing for a while (and all signs point to that being the case for me).

We are telling our families this weekend, which should be exciting!!
